Management Team
Director – Mr Stephen Press RGN.DIPRSA Mr Press has been working in the care business since he was 15 years old, it was in the family business at the Avenue Care Home. He then went on and qualified as a RGN and gained experience within the NHS as a staff nurse. He re-joined the Avenue Rest Home as a partner and attained a Diploma in Management (DIPRSA). He later became proprietor and manager and therefore has valuable experience in managing and running a home. |
Registered Care Home Manager – Lucy Romain Lucy Romain, our registered Care Home Manager, has attained City and Guilds Direct care NVQ Levels 2 and 3 RMA. |

General staff In addition to the Care Home Manager, Dauntsey House employs a number of staff, mostly recruited locally. They make up our team of, day & night carers, cooks a Catering Manager, night staff (2 on nightly, 1 on duty and 1 on call) with additional senior staff members also available as back-up. Every Resident has his or her own key worker, which provides a more beneficial special relationship with the Resident. |
Staff training is comprehensive and mostly based on NVQ standards, involved in various stages. |
