Services at Dauntsey House

Here at Dauntsey House we are proud to offer the following services

 

Day Care

Adult day care is a planned program of activities in a professional care setting designed for older adults who require supervised care during the day, or those who are isolated and lonely.

Outreach Care

Community care services are intended to help people who need care and support to live with dignity and independence in the community and to avoid social isolation.

Long Term Care

Long-term care involves a variety of services designed to meet a person's health or personal care needs during a short or long period of time. These services help people live as independently and safely as possible when they can no longer perform everyday activities on their own.

  • Residents come to the caring environment of Dauntsey House from widely varying religious, ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Many of our residents are temporary guests while their family are on holiday or have had a minor accident and are unable to care for themselves. We also cater for permanent places within our house
  • Dauntsey house is not a Nursing Home. However we do have fully qualified carers on site twenty four hours a day. We care for both the elderly and infirm. Help is always on hand for any situation, be it big or small. The team of care assistants is fully supported by a team of domestic, laundry, catering and admin staff.
  • Residents can enjoy 3 freshly cooked meals a day, prepared by our on-site cooks. The menus are extensive and are changed every day so our residents can enjoy a wide and varied diet. Tea, coffee, juice and biscuits are available throughout the day for whenever the need arises. Also a wide range of vegetarian and vegan dishes are available if necessary. If any special dietary requirements are needed then these will be faithfully observed.

Outreach
  • As well as our dedicated trained team
    providing exceptional care at Dauntsey
    House, we also have a team of trained
    support workers offering help for people
    who wish to remain in their own home for
    as long as possible. Our Outreach support workers can offer;
    * Accompanying to appointments
    * Shopping
    * Light household duties
    * Trips out
    * Company at home
    * Sleep-in service
